Series 91 of record group 59-4 consists of a 1914 map, originally collected by either the Michigan Geological Survey or the Michigan Lands Division. The map documents the number of acres of state swamp land grants to railroads: Chicago and Northwestern; Detroit, Mackinac, and Marquette; Marquette, Houghton, and Ontonagon, Menominee River. Shows all of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and includes an inset of Isle Royale. The map is on tracing linen and was drawn by R.R. Havens for A.C. Carton of the State Land Office. The map is 36" x 63" in size, with no scale given.
